Sifu Janet Gee
Choy Li Fut

Sifu Janet Gee has studied in several martial arts since 1971.  She has trained mainly with Grandmaster Doc Fai Wong in Choy Li Fut and Yang Tai Chi Chuan and has taught many seminars and workshops throughout the U.S.  and abroad. Sifu Gee is a certified teacher in the Alexander Technique which she applies to her teaching in the martial arts.  The Alexander Technique is a method that develops sophisticated conscious coordination.  She is certified by the American Teachers Association of Martial Arts (A.T.A.M.A.) and is a 5th degree black belt. 

Janet does a lot of outreach in her community.  She teaches self-defense classes at the community colleges and with several rape crisis centers.  Janet is a certified rape crisis counselor for San Francisco Women Against Rape (S.F.W.A.R.)  She is the founder and director of Janet Gee’s Martial Arts Training since 1985.
